One of the nicest but least-appreciated features of the iPhone is Magsafe, and in particular Standby Mode:

People have even made mounts to do this with iPhone...

Basically just the speaker part of Google's Nest Home Hub (but the screen is an iPad mounted magnetically). I mean look at it. That wants to be an iPad. Watch it in your hands in bed and then mount it next to your bedside to charge as you sleep. It would be perfect.

Nobody wants or needs yet another device and the iPad has struggled to find its killer app that would lead to mass adoption for a while now. This would be perfect. Please do it.
